KSBR Birthday Bash 2010

[Guitarist Nick Colionne]

On the evening of Sunday, May 30th, Saddleback College's campus-run radio station, KSBR Jazz! FM 88.5, hosted its 21st annual Birthday Bash event. The bash took place behind the Norman P. Murray Community Center on the lawn at the Oso Viejo Community Park. From stellar sax solos to all-star jam sessions, the jazz musicians (nearly 50 of them!) serenaded a most pleasantly entertained crowd, while they feasted on beer, wine, bbq, and home-packed picnic dinners. Even as a non-jazz follower I had a blast at the bash. Enjoy a few of my photos from the day and be sure to check out the event next year!

Listening to "La Vie En Rose" sung by Louis Armstrong (old school jazz + the most beautiful song ever)
